Being cleaned with cold or warm water with a little household detergent added, and a damp chamois leather to finish off the cleaning (just wipe, don't rub). Products specially designed to care for Acrylic - Perspex ® sheet and keep it looking like new are generic Cleaner, Johnson's Pledge (or any similar product), generic Polish, to polish the surface and remove all scratches (finish by applying a generic Cleaner).

Acrylic - Perspex ® sheet hates:

Being cleaned dry, which can scratch it. Fluffy or rough cloths. Trichlorethylene, benzol or other solvents, which will change its appearance.

About Acrylic - Perspex ® sheet:

Acrylic - Perspex ® sheet is derived from petrochemical feedstock, with the main raw material being acetone. Acetone is converted into a chemical called methyl methacrylate, which is then polymerised into Acrylic - Perspex ® . The resultant material, namely PMMA or to give its full title, Polymethylmethacrylate is then processed into a range of applications one of which is Acrylic - Perspex ® sheet.

It was famously used to produce the cockpit canopy for the even more famously known World War II fighter aircraft the Supermarine Spitfire.
