FOAMALUX XTRA S1 - FOAM PVC SHEET - NOW IN STOCK

An innovative new substrate that offers increased cost-effectiveness and versatility in signage and print reproduction, Foamalux Xtra S1, has been launched by Brett Martin. Foamalux Xtra S1 is another development in the Foamalux range and features a base of black recycled material with a co-extruded top surface of premium white Foamalux.

The resulting product provides a lighter, more cost-effective alternative to standard Foamalux. The black base disguises dirt and gives a dramatic contrast on routered or etched signs, whilst the white top layer provides a premium quality, consistent surface for graphic reproduction and printing. Foamalux Xtra S1 is available in 3mm and 5mm thicknesses, in both 1220mm x 2440mm and 1220mm x 3050mm, and can also be produced with a coloured top surface, subject to minimum order quantities. It is competitively priced against "traditional" options of wood based sheet products, Celluka board, polystyrene and standard foam PVC.

Foamalux, the leading brand of foam PVC sheet in the UK, offers an excellent surface finish for graphic reproduction that will simultaneously provide resistance to knocks and scratches, Class 1 fire rating and a high strength to weight ratio. It can be folded and thermoformed without detriment to the surface quality. Foamalux Xtra is a composite foam PVC comprising a black core of recycled material with co-extruded smooth surfaces of white Foamalux. Its high density, hard surface is ideal for the increasing use of digital technology and it has all the performance characteristics of Foamalux.

FOAMALUX XTRA - COMPOSITE FOAM PVC SHEET

Foamalux Xtra is a rigid, closed cell foam PVC sheet consisting of a core of re-cycled material with co-extruded smooth surfaces of virgin material. The high density, fine, uniform surface means a better quality finish for all types of processing and this flat, hard surface provides excellent adhesion for print and vinyl application. The hard surface also provides better wear, scratch and indent resistance than standard foam PVC sheet.

The re-cycled core means that Foamalux Xtra helps reduce waste and provides environmental benefits, also ensuring a cost-effective material. The white surfaces and black core provide endless opportunities for creative projects and the black core also disguises dirt, ensuring that signs and displays look better for longer. Available in 10mm thickness, Foamalux Xtra is a good option where a thicker substrate is required but cost is a major consideration.
